115 Reducing Suicide Risk by Enhancing Resilience

Resilience is the ability or capacity to adapt to and withstand stress while continuing to function successfully in times of adversity. This session will discuss the relationship between resilience and suicide risk, including what resilience is and how to assess for it. It will describe individual resilience factors and how these can be enhanced and developed over time, providing a foundation for improved resilience.
